Dan Thiel Biography


Biography of Dan Thiel Dan Thiel - 7th grade homeroom, upper grades science, computer, and part-time technology coordinator. Educational background-Graduated MLC 1984; Bsed. MSed: Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University 1992; Wisconsin state teacher license 2002. One of the neatest things in my ministry is to help my students grow up in Jesus and then watch as they use their gifts to serve Him and each other. Wife-Cindy (Guhr) and four children-Sarah, Ben, Anna, and Luke, and one grandson, Louis George Wischki. Cindy is Assistant Business Manager/Activities Director at Stoney Creek Adult Retirement Community. She also arranges day and extended tours for the residents and I’ve been fortunate to be able to travel along with her.
Sarah works as an aide at SOEL, is a great mom, and attends school fulltime. She’s going for a degree in psychology and hopes to do social work. Ben is attending MATC for EMS/Firefighting. He is an Iraq war veteran and currently serves as an air guardsman for the WIANG 128th air refueling wing. Anna is going for her bachelor’s degree in the restaurant and hospitality industry at Lakeland College and also served in the 128th. Luke just finished school at WCTC. He earned his associates degree in Auto Body Collision and Repair and works for E.J. Salentine.
