Biography of Anne Meyer

Anne Meyer - Pre-K Teacher

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and have lived here all of my life. I am a life long WELS member and grew up at St. Lucas, where I was baptized and confirmed. I attended St. Lucas grade school for K-8 and then

Attended Wisconsin Lutheran for high school. I then attended MATC and received a two-year associate degree in early childhood education.

I began employment at Oakwood Discovery Stage shortly after graduating. I continued to work there as a preschool/daycare teacher for 18 years. During this time I met and married my husband, Chris, and our family grew with our three sons, Bryan, Danny and Brad entering the picture. In 2001, I received my call to teach at St. Paul’s in the 3K classroom. It is an opportunity that I feel so blessed to have had. I truly enjoy being involved with the preschoolers, especially with their spiritual development.

When I am not teaching I am kept busy tending to three growing boys. I stay active by running, roller blading, bike riding, swimming, skiing and playing sports with three active boys. Our family loves to spend vacation time up in Door County and up in Michigan skiing.

My family and I have been members of St. Paul’s since 1996. We have really grown to love our St. Paul’s family and many friends!
