Biography of Deb Doletzky

Deb Doletzky - Second Grade

Deb was born in Garden City, Michigan and raised in Wayne, Michigan. She is one of four children. She attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Westland, Michigan, Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw Michigan, and Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in education in 1992.

Deb was assigned to teach first & second grades at Immanuel Lutheran in Kewaunee, Wisconsin (just south of Door County).  In 1996 she received the call to teach first grade at St. John's Lutheran in Libertyville, Illinois, taught first grade for two years, fourth grade for four years, and third and fourth grades the last two years. She was called to teach second grade here at St. Paul’s in 2004.


Deb loves lighthouses and things nautical, to watch movies, go on walks, visit with friends, read and play the organ. She is also a die-hard Detroit Lions fan.
