What you like most about being a teacher, minister or called worker: The privilege that the Lord has given me in sharing the Gospel with His little lambs, and watching the students grow and learn together as young Christians.

Schooling: Attended grades K-8 at St. John's Lutheran School in Westland, Michigan. Attended high school at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan, graduated in 1988. Attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm,
Minnesota, graduated with bachelor of science degree in education in 1992.
Previous congregations served & years there: Assigned to teach first & second grades at Immanuel Lutheran in Kewaunee, Wisconsin (just south of Door County). In 1996 received Call to teach first grade at St. John's Lutheran in Libertyville, Illinois, taught first grade for two years, fourth grade for four years, third and fourth grades the last two years.
Hobbies & interests: Interests are lighthouses and things nautical. I like to see movies, go on walks, visit with friends, read and play the organ.
Father, mother, brothers & sisters and anything interesting about them: Parents Richard and Caroline are both home with our eternal Savior. Older brother, Paul, is minister in North Fort Meyers, Florida and is married with one son. Younger sister, Cathy, is married with two boys and living in Watertown, Wisconsin. Younger brother, Kevin, is living in Wayne, Michigan.
Favorite things to do & favorite places to go: I like to travel. Nine years ago I traveled to Europe and would like to go back someday, maybe next summer. This past year I traveled to New Mexico, parts of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the U.P. of Michigan.
Please list two or three things that are unique about you: I don't like fish, and I am a die-hard Detroit Lions fan!
