Biography of Pastor Peter Panitzke

Pastor PanitzkePastor Peter Panitzke has been on the ministerial staff at St. Paul's since March of 1998.  He began his ministry in an exploratory mission in
St. Charles County, Missouri.   In the sixteen years he served in that area the mission became Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and grew to a congregation of 225 souls.   He received his call to St. Paul's while serving Good Shepherd.

Pastor Panitzke was born into a farm family in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.   He is the youngest of five children. After attending Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, Minnesota, he continued his studies for the pastoral ministry at Northwestern College, Watertown, Wisconsin (Class of 1978), and at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wisconsin (Class of 1982).

Pastor Panitzke is married to Joni (White) who is a native of Lake Mills, Wisconsin.   She is an administrative assistant at KPMG in Milwaukee. They have four children and two grandchildren.

Pastor Panitzke serves Christ here at St. Paul's as Ministerial Team Leader and as pastoral advisor to the Board of Outreach.  He also serves as a contributing editor to our church body's national magazine "Forward in Christ."
