Baptism

At St. Paul’s, we urge parents to make arrangements to have their child baptized as soon as possible after birth, as the Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle Peter to write that baptism saves us (1 Peter 3:21).

Even if you are not a member at St. Paul’s, you are welcome to contact St. Paul’s to arrange to have the baptism in the hospital, privately, or during a worship service. The baptism ceremony usually lasts about 15 minutes, and friends and family are invited to attend.

Adults wishing to be baptized are also welcome to inquire.

If you have questions or would like to discuss Baptism in more detail, please contact any of the pastors. They will help you to understand the essence, power, blessings, and meaning of Baptism and will provide you with opportunities for you and your child to grow in the Christian faith.
