Helping Your Kids Deal with
Anger, Fear, and Sadness
No parent likes to see their child struggle, especially with dark emotions like anger, fear, and depression. Family counselor and best-selling author Norm Wright addresses these emotional issues in a compassionate, family-friendly way that will help parents communicate more freely with their children. Included in this interactive parenting manual are conversational guidelines and learning activities for children that encourage them to work through these difficult emotions. Parents will gain keen insights into the cause of these intense moods and develop sound principles in dealing effectively with them.
Biblically based and solution-oriented, this book is a must-have for parents, Sunday school teachers, ministers, and family counselors.
Here is some information and history about the Library:
The library was started in 1981 with 30 books (mostly old and unused).
From 1981 until 1994 our only source of funding was from our members with their generous donations and memorials. As of 1994, 13 years after we started, the Church Library finally became a part of the yearly church budget.
We are under the directive of Adult Discipleship
Our card catalog cabinet was acquired from a public library when it went on-line with computers.
Notice to all parents, teachers and Sunday School teachers. We recently added seven new Wee Sing cassettes to the Church Library. Wee Sing cassettes are songs and fingerplays for young children. These cassettes will help you when teaching your young children/students.
These are all fun songs, poems and fingerplays for youngsters of all ages. Check out our whole collection available in the Church Library.
