Pastor Jeffrey A. Bonack

Pastor Jeffrey Bonack has been a part of the pastoral staff at St. Paul's since July, of 1996. He was assigned to St. Paul's upon graduation from the Seminary.

Pastor Bonack grew up on a dairy farm in the Mayville, WI area.  After graduating from Mayville High School in 1986, he attended our synod's pastor training college, Northwestern, in Watertown, WI.   After completing a five-year program, Pastor Bonack received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree.   From there Pastor Bonack attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI.  As a part of his training, he vicared in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where he had the privilege of preaching in the German language on a regular basis.  Pastor Bonack graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in May of 1996.

Pastor Bonack is married to Laura Jean (Schwartz) who spent most of her growing up years in Lake Mills, WI and is a graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School. God has blessed Pastor Bonack and Laura with eight wonderful children: Westley, Elisha, Victoria, Emma, Julien, Rose, Anna and Elijah.   Besides being a mother to her children, Laura uses the musical gifts that God has given her by giving piano/trumpet lessons and singing in both of the Christian contemporary ensembles here at St. Paul's.

Pastor Bonack is the Worship Pastor for St. Paul's, planning services and coordinating the many groups and volunteers that help us glorify our Savior in worship services.  Pastor Bonack also coordinates the pre-marital counseling here at St. Paul's.
