Planting “seeds” in the lives of children

School of Early Learning

As God’s people, we are called to plant the seed of God’s Word increasingly in the hearts of St. Paul’s members and residents of our community. As God’s disciples, we are to raise up a new generation of “oaks of righteousness.” The approved capital expansion program is an excellent opportunity for all of us as a congregation to carry out our God-given mission.

For those in the congregation who already made a commitment to Plant a Seed, 2008, you will be encouraged to re-examine your promise and make any adjustments during this time to reflect the love Jesus has demonstrated to you. We are also encouraging those who have not yet made a promise to consider the grace you have received from Jesus and how this capital expansion plan will extend God’s Grace to many more people.

The goals of the “Plant a Seed, Reap a Harvest” campaign include:

  • Celebrating what God has done with St. Paul’s so far and how he continues to bless us as a result of our facilities and outreach programs
  • Planting “seeds” in the lives of children in the SOEL and Pre-K programs
  • Extending God’s Grace to the community through the ministries of St. Paul’s.
  • Inviting all members to make 1-year commitments this year, with the opportunity for multi-year commitments at the dedication next year.
God has a plan for St. Paul’s and you are a part of it. Right now, we need to start planting seeds in the lives of people, especially children, so that God’s Grace can make them grown and turn our ministries into a harvest.

Galatians 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
